Event Description:
In our Gourmet Learning Series, you'll eat lunch while you learn! Join us for an in-depth look at the First Amendment of the Constitution. This term, the U.S. Supreme Court is considering several cases with significant implications for the First Amendment, involving free speech, religious liberty, and electoral reform. This workshop with With Josh Douglas, Constitutional Law Professor at the University of Kentucky, will discuss the history of the Court’s First Amendment rulings and will highlight the major cases the Court is deciding in 2018 on these issues. Registration is required, and you must register 48 hours in advance to guarantee a lunch.
