The work and service were exceptional. We couldn't make an appointment for the muffler repair we needed but that was certainly necessary as they had no idea what it was going to we needed. It was no problem to drop off the car, wait to hear the analysis, then pick it up the next day. Couldn't believe they had the repair completed around one o'clock and at such a reasonable price.
Kevin is an excellent communicator and keeps jobs moving to full completion.

Got here around 7:35 am. A Gentleman asked me what's the problem and to fill out a small info form. After that he took my keys and said he should be able to get it looked at soon. 10-15 minutes later it was on the rack.
He came out and told me it sounds like a leak. The other gentleman said the same.
We both walked out and he showed me where the problem was. There was a hole in one of the pipes right before the muffler.
He then went and got a stethoscope to listen to make sure there were no other problems. When he was done, I asked should I make an appointment and come back to get it fixed. He said that they can do it now. Corey which was his name gave me a quote for the immediate problem which was not bad. He also asked if I wanted to fix another problem before it got out of hand.
I would just call it Preventive Maintenance to stop a bigger problem from forming down the road. He further inspected the underside of the exhaust system along with the technologist who was also present. I then went inside to wait for the fix.
While waiting, I met a gentleman by the name of D. Smith and to my surprise it was someone who worked in the same facility a while back. We talked about people we knew and and different things here and now. It was a damn good time.
Anyway, The Technologist was fixing my vehicle around 7:55 a.m. When it was all said and done, my bill was $139.90 and my vehicle sounds new again. So happy for this.
I was out and on the road at 8:59 a.m.
FYI, I don't trust a lot of people to work on my vehicles.
I researched around 4 weeks before deciding on this location.
From my visit, I feel I can trust this location. They did not try to fix things that wasn't broken, didn't suggest other services. They got straight to the point.
Everyone was polite, saying, "How are you?", "Good morning" and such.
The establishment was clean as one could expect working with grease and oil.
Price for the service was very affordable.
I will be back for maintenance of my vehicle.

It's a shame, work there for 25 years and get shafted by the owners. Sad.

Brought my 2014 Mercedes SL550 to this Exhaust Pro with a Check Engine light on. Thankful they immediately diagnosed the problem and put in a new oxygen sensor. Kept me from potentially damaging my catalytic converter. Best service and most knowledgeable crew to service my car. Exceptional!

So glad I got this right in and I was repaired and on my way in no time. The technician was super thorough and their customer service is outstanding.

Please don't do business at Exhaust Pro. I wish I would've read their reviews before hand. I'm never one to leave bad reviews, but these guys did me so wrong.
I let Exhaust pro put a new radiator in my van, not too worried other than their prices. So be it. But when I received my van, I go to open the hood to check out the radiator, and the hood would not open. It worked before I brought it to them fine. I was confused and felt as if these guys didn't want me to see the new radiator that was installed. So, I took my vehicle back to them , and talked with them and told them everything that the hood worked before I got the radiator, and they told me they would make it right with me.
I leave it there to fix, come back and they tell me it's $175 for a hood cable! Which is ridiculous since they were the ones that broke it. I try negotiating, and explain, it was fine before I took it there. No negotiating possible. Wouldn't let me get my van. They are crooks and thieves just wanting more money.
Please do not do business at Exhaust Pro. I wish I never had.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alicia H.AL, AL03Jul 2, 2022
We recently had our brakes and calipers replaced at Exhaust Pro. The service was great! We just put them to the test as we came within inches of hitting a car in front of us on the interstate when there was a crazy braking event where like 50 cars on I-65 just started hitting their brake for no reason. There was a crash behind us, but we made it through fine. Thanks Exhaust Pro!

They have a really bad service, is embarrassed I took my car there for a sound on my exhaust and they charge me and the sound is still there, I went 3 days they check it and they said that everything was fine. But the sound is still there so I pay for nothing and the 2 persons on the front desks are very rude!! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACEEE

I live in California and have a daughter that attends UK. So not knowing any car repair shops in Lexington I figured this was gonna be task on trying to get her car checked out. Found Exhaust Pro with a Google search and the reviews were good. Checked Yelp as well and the few reviews were good too. So I took chance on them and glad I did. With my daughter not knowing a thing about cars they took the time to explain to her what was needed which was a new radiator and hoses. They found a couple of other things that weren't connected from the previous work I had done on the car and didn't charge me any additional fees. One thing that was great was they had no problem with calling me and also explaining in more detail what needed to be done so I could make the final decision. I really appreciate them not taking advantage of daughter and charging a ridiculous price or adding non necessary work. After that experience I knew they would be my go to for any other work needed for the next couple of years my daughter would be at UK. Leads me to say I needed them again. My daughter had to have the car towed there and dropped off late on Wednesday. They were able to inspect on Thursday and ready to get the work done that same day. Due to my daughter traveling to Arkansas for their game she wasn't able to give the ok to complete the work. She was able to give the ok on Friday and they weren't upset about her not responding on Thursday which was great. Being a teenager she failed to tell them she was now in Arkansas and wouldn't be able to pick the car up until Monday but she did give my number for anymore communication needed. They called me Saturday morning saying the car was ready. I informed them about her being out of town and they had no problem keeping the car until Monday. They didn't charge me any type fees for storage either. Great service all the way around!!!!

It cost my son $200 in labor alone for them not to fix the problem in the heating system of his car. Of course, they claimed they knew just what was wrong and just how to fix it!!
I don't know how much they paid their friends to write these reviews, but I am telling everyone about this place and to stay as far away as possible!!!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matt G.Lexington, KY136321Dec 4, 2017
I'm not happy to write a review like this, but it's necessary.
I took my car to get an oil change and have the brakes inspected. While the oil change went fine and was reasonably priced, the brake inspection was a disaster.
I was told I need a full brake job: pads and rotors, front and back. A total of $700. I almost pulled the trigger on it but thank God I didn't.
I took my car to another shop and got the good news / bad news: I definitely needed my rear pads and rotors replaced. But there was NOTHING wrong with my front pads or rotors. Literally, not a thing. The front pads were at ~50% and the rotors were in perfect shape.
I asked if there was any way that someone could mistake the front pads or rotors as being bad. The look I got from the guy said it all, but his response was pretty absolute: there is no possibility that any knowledgeable shop on the planet could possibly look at those pads or rotors and think there was something wrong with them.
So, either the team at Exhaust Pro knowingly lied, carelessly reported back to me on the status of my vehicle, or does not have the expertise to differentiate between problem pads/rotors and not problem. I'm not speculating on which it was, but I'm not sure I see any other possibility.
For that reason, I will not be returning to Exhaust Pro for any service and I do not recommend their services to any member of the community.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
