Building Industry Association of Central Kentucky

In 1952, local home builders came together to form a unified voice to advocate for the building industry and formed the Home Builders Association of Lexington. Since then, Members of the Association have built, remodeled and supplied services & products for many of the homes in Lexington and Central Kentucky. Along the way, the Association has provided a high degree of professionalism and opportunity for growth to its Members, even creating a trade school, The Building Institute, in 2014. The Association changed its name to the Building Industry Association of Central KY in 2016 to encompass the wide range of Member company activities. Now, the BIA is stronger than ever, with an exciting year of Member-to-Member networking activities and public-facing-events, such as the Grand Tour of Homes, with a very special BIA “Home of Excellence” to be featured, and Tour of Remodeled Homes.
