Otis Cveticanin spent 20 years serving the Lexington area as a firefighter. During his time with the department, he and many of his fellow first responders dreamed about having a place where they can talk, reminisce, and continue building that community they shared in the firehouse. That dream became reality for Otis, when he retired from The Department and opened Halligans with his wife, Sarah.
The bar and grill is a great place for firefighters, police, EMTs, nurses, and anyone else to enjoy a meal and talk through life experiences. Citizens don’t always have a chance to get to know emergency and first responders as people, and Halligans enables that mix of community servants with the community itself.
