Event Description: Delve into a full dome exploration of what it means to live in today's connected world, exploring a variety of habitats, types of life, and relationships – fun for all ages! Through stunning visualizations of the natural world, dive below the ocean's surface to explore the dynamic relationships found in kelp forest ecosystems, and travel beneath the forest floor to see how Earth's tallest trees rely on tiny fungi to survive. Show times are 5:45, 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, & 7:45pm. Also during Discovery Night enjoy exploring forest ecosystems with KY Division of Forestry and special guest, Smokey the Bear! Dive into water conservation with guests from KY Division of Water and their sidekick, Ollie Otter! Don’t forget to create some earth friendly art to take home too! Important note: The planetarium is limited to 70 seats per showing. Call the LASC at (859) 252-5222 to reserve your seats at the time you prefer. Show times are 5:45, 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, & 7:45pm. $2 per person suggested donation.
