Shaking Seafood and Wings of Lexington

Our server was great but highly disappointed with the $7 shrimp cocktail. I was only served 4 small shrimp on the rim of a cocktail glass. Since the shrimp was so small I believe there should have been more than 4!

Great seafood and even better service! Outstanding experience. The owner even came over and talked with us for a few minutes and included a few complimentary shots of Woodford Reserve bourbon.

They had great customer service and the food was delicious! Our server was so funny and cute and attentive. The crab boil was delicious.

Visiting from out of state, my friends and I were looking for a good place to eat a quick lunch. We found this restaurant on google map and decided to check em out before we hit up some breweries and distilleries. We each ordered our own seafood combo - i decided to get the snow crab legs and peeled shrimp combo with their special sauce, which basically includes all 3 sauce flavor-in-one (so yummy!). Overall, i thought everything was delicious and exploding with cajun flavors! I thought it was pretty unique to see an egg as part of the combo, which also actually paired well with the sauce.

Our server was super nice and made us feel welcome, which is always a good feeling when you go to a new restaurant :) Overall, i recommend this place if you're looking for a good/ decently priced seafood spot in Lexington!

When we go to conventions we always get sea food. We have had some great experiences in the sea food world, but perhaps our best most filling experience to date is Shacking Seafood and Wings. Caution: we never got to the wings the seafood was to amazing! The spice was spectacular and the ultimate combo for under $70 got a lobster tail, a lb of snow crab, a pile of shrimp, sausage, an egg, and corn on the cob. The waitress never let our drink go dry and the owner was very active and attentive ( he delivered our food the second day at lunch). One of the smartest plating decisions I have seen, I can't describe it but, I am sure you will appreciate it. Sorry, I forgot to talk about the appetizers. The most delicate Crab rangoon I have ever had, my wife had to make a new scale for how great the Philly cheesesteak egg roll is, she said it was the best she has had by far! The bathrooms are very clean and as a whole the restaurant was very clean. It has a nautical themed that look cool but not distracting vs. Over all this is a great dinning experience!

We live for the WINGS!!!! The food is AMAZING. We love it here! We love it here. It is the bomb I recommend coming it here.

Excellent service , Manager checked on us , food quality delicious. Hidden secret in Hamburg area. Wings great too ! Had Philly cheesesteak egg roll , perfect !

Very good seafood. Great for large crowds and family outing events. Kid friendly. I really enjoyed the food and drinks here. A must try

This place generally has good service and the food tastes great. But we had a very disappointing experience tonight. After three tries to get our order right we gave up and ate one pan of cold food and one pan of hot food that were each wrong. Manager wasn't even going to come apologize but waitress asked us if he had and we said no. We got a brief sorry and offer of a dessert which we declined for being full from dinner and diabetic. He offered nothing else and we paid full price for a pretty crappy dinner. Came across as them being very cheap. We've been a few times before and it was good so may give them one more chance but management has to be better. Just own it when the kitchen messes up.

There are a few similar restaurants in Lexington KY but if you want the best option Shaking Seafood is the one you should choose. The food is AWESOME FRESH AND you get A LOTof it! Shout out to KEN (GM) and RICHARD! THEIR SERVICE WAS IMPRESSIVE TO SAY THE LEAST. They made my friend and I feel like royalty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I truly haven't had a service experience like this anywhere in Lexington! They took time to make sure our order was correct and that our drinks were refreshed (without even asking)!!!!! They both went above and beyond our expectations!

My friend that I went with has traveled a lot in her lifetime and she was impressed with her lobster tail so much that we went 2 times within the week! She literally said it was the best lobster she had ever had! The seasonings alone are superb. They are made in-house and you can tell the difference. We will definitely be returning and they have gained 2 more loyal customers for life.
