Job Description Summary Supervise the payroll and benefits department and all functions related to multi-state payroll and employee benefit programs. This position ensures the credibility of the department, compliance with applicable regulations, and supports employee benefit needs.   Selected Responsibilities Plan and direct the activities of the payroll/benefit staff. Coordinate all payroll tax reporting requirements with payroll services to insure that all federal, state and local reports and payments are in compliance. Ensure compliance for W-2’s, 1095-C, 1094-C. Administer and coordinate all 401(k) related activities; calculate pension benefits, manage vision, EAP, and reimbursement accounts, and administer QDRO’s. Maintain payroll/benefit related accounts in payroll and general ledger systems and is responsible for the reconciliation and accuracy of one or more ledgers. Make journal entries as needed for individual and inter-company accounts. Annual benefit open enrollment planning and implementation. Coordinate with brokers and decision makers for benefit renewals. Cooperates with and assists external and internal auditors as appropriate. Compiles data and complete necessary documentation for submittal of required forms to government agencies, including any test requirements (ie 5500s, PBGC filing, Medicare Part D, non-discrimination test, etc.). Responsible for preparing the payroll added cost (PAC) budget and submitting for management approval.
Experience Required:
Experience and Qualifiers 4-year college degree; Accounting/Finance, Human Resources or like course of study. Minimum 8 years decision level payroll and benefits experience. Experience with the types of benefit programs offered at Link-Belt. Must have good analytical skills, proficient with MS Excel. Know or quickly learn UltiPro HRIS. Quickly learn other software / web tools used on the job. Communicate clearly with all levels of employees, dependents, and third parties with a respectful and helpful demeanor.

We are currently seeking a Medical & Mental Billing and Coding Manager who will be responsible for all duties involved in billing and coding for medical and mental health services provided for Revive Ministries Inc. and Revive Life House (Revive) facilities. These duties apply to all Revive facilities operated by Revive Ministries, Inc. This position will collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and coding for all billable services. As the Medical and Mental Billing and Coding Manager, you may interact with clients and family members regularly. This position will work with health care providers to help ensure appropriate and consistent administration of plan benefits through collecting clinical and medical services information required to submit accurate billing and billing codes. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Facilitate and assist in the contracting and credentialing of providers and/or the facility as payer permits. - Monitor and maintain provider information on insurance databases. - Monitor payer websites, manuals, newsletters, and listserv for changes in billing requirements. - Compile and enter claims and claim payments to Electronic Medical Record (EMR). - Verify claim status per payer websites, submit appeals for denied claims or corrected claims as required and submit final claims reports to the Finance Department. - Submit any professional liability coverage and professional licenses as renewed to payer’s upon request or requirement. - Respond in a timely manner and assist with facility audits of claim files. - Assist the clinical team regarding procedure and diagnosis code information. - Provide the Finance Department or Program Director with total insurance billing for the prior service month no later than the seventh (7th) of each month. - Comply with all state, federal and accrediting regulations regarding billing and coding in a Behavioral Health facility. - Must adhere to strict patient confidentiality and all HIPAA laws. - Learn and be knowledgeable of all Revive programs and services in order to educate insurance representatives on behalf of the client. - Learn and be knowledgeable of all Revive rules, policies and procedures. - Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance vendors to create reciprocity in services. - Attend required departmental and/or agency meetings as required by the agency. - All other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
BACKGROUND/EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management or a current certification in Medical Billing and Coding required along with at least 1 year of experience. - Background in or be familiar and willing to work with men struggling with substance abuse issues required. - Must have knowledge of medical privacy and confidentiality [HIPAA]; computer applications/software to include Microsoft Office programs/MS Outlook, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and internet familiarity. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to work independently. - Strong computer and customer service skills. - Must have dependable transportation and some travel may be required. As Shift Supervisor, it will be your responsibility to handle and care for residents, and all emergency procedures as well as all oversight of the programs day-to-day operations. As Shift Supervisor, it is required that you fill out all paper and computer programs that involve all policy and procedures. These duties apply to the Revive Life House operated by Revive Ministries, Inc. Some travel required. Shift supervisors direct the activities of clients during a specific period or shift. This involves working with them to ensure they are in treatment as required, participating in programming or other activities.
