Job Description:
Job Summary The Institutional Research Analyst position is responsible for facilitating communication of data through information visualization, performance measure development, calculation, validation, and fulfillment of ad hoc requests. This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY. This position may offer a hybrid work schedule. Job Duties: Create and maintain Tableau visualizations such as the KCTCS Factbook and KCTCS Strategic Plan dashboards. This includes continual improvement in order to streamline data loading and validation processes in order to meet internal publication deadlines. Responsible for ensuring consistency and accuracy of performance metrics across a variety of platforms (e.g., Tableau and data warehouse dashboards, scorecards, and external resources such as CPE's progress reports and placemats). This includes within ORPA communication to ensure data is validated and responsibility for development and calculation of assigned performance metrics. Works with requesters, including staff in ORPA, to understand their needs in order to provide unsurpassed customer service with timely and accurate responses to ad hoc requests. In addition to preparing data, this includes training requesters to locate existing information as well as improving resources such as the KCTCS Factbook to incorporate frequently-requested information. Develop internal documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency in routine work (such as performance measure calculations and Tableau dashboard updates). Develop documentation and training resources for external audiences, particularly College Institutional Research/Institutional Effectiveness (IR/IE) staff, to understand logic and to best utilize products such as the Tableau dashboards and KCTCS data warehouse dashboards/reports.
Experience Required:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Institutional Research/Reporting or Computer Science and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Institutional Research/Reporting or Computer Science and seven (7) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Additional Skills Requested: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Access/Excel), Tableau, OBIEE or data warehouse.

Position: Advocate (Lexington-based, Bilingual preferred) Status: Non-exempt, full-time Summary: The advocate will be responsible for providing advocacy and crisis counseling to survivors and their family and friends & outreach and education to communities in the eastern half of our 17-county service region. This position is based in Lexington, with some remote work options available. The Lexington-based advocate works closely with a team of 3-4 other advocates serving our 17 counties. We prefer that this candidate be fluent in Spanish. The advocate reports directly to the Director of Advocacy & Education. Salary: $35,500 - $36,500 COVID-19 considerations: We are currently working remotely, offering in-person and Zoom counseling and advocacy to survivors and adapting our operating procedures to protect our staff, clients, and community. We remain flexible and continue to adapt as public health guidance evolves. Essential Duties • Provide crisis intervention counseling, medical and legal advocacy, support, and referral services to survivors, as well as their families and friends • Consult with area professionals about working with and serving survivors of sexual violence • Frequent travel within the eastern half of our service region is required • Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation is required • Develop and facilitate survivor-centered workshops • Provide community education on sexual violence and outreach • Participate in local taskforces and committees that address issues of sexual violence • Meet regularly with other crisis intervention staff to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of services provided • Complete all required client and outreach/education paperwork to facilitate data collection • Consult with appropriate supervisors and colleagues to obtain feedback and process issues that arise from working with survivors • Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork and mutual respect among staff and volunteers Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Equipment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
