POSITION DESCRIPTION This position coordinates all administrative functions, schedules training and classes at the National Responder Preparedness Center (NRPC). Provides NRPC with information and resources necessary to serve students in a safe and efficient manner. Provides administrative support to the NRPC Coordinator and staff at the NRPC. This position gives support to fire departments in the Commonwealth where applicable and the military for training needs, adhering to all functions in KCTCS policies and procedures and local, state, and national guidelines as required. Assists in the coordination of staff meetings, regional fire schools and other events. Assists with high level confidential material. Tracks student information and enrollment maintains records and prepares and submits reports. • Assists the NRPC Coordinator in managing and monitoring the budget, prepares requisitions, check requests, journals and procard documentation, reviews new hire applications for accuracy and inclusion of required documents • Assists in managing the NRPC training centers, mobile training props and fleet, tracks and maintains equipment and property, monitors inventory and revisions to NRPC website. • Prepares and edits correspondence, brochures and other documents, Orders and maintains inventory of office and training supplies. • Maintains and organizes office calendar, assists with managing training center, assists with mobile training props and fleet, and tracking maintenance of equipment and property • Serves as receptionist for the NRPC, greets visitors via face to face and telephone, maintains calendar, proctors IFSAC (International Fire Service Accreditation Congress) written exams, submits documentation to the testing coordinator for grading.

Job Description:
• Responsible for administering the Kentucky Emergency Medical Services Information System (KEMSIS), Kentucky State Ambulance Reporting System (KSTARS), and other EMS data systems within and external to the organization. Supervises staff in the data program. • Advises KBEMS Executive Director and Leadership Team on data topics and develops data program objectives. Implements plans to improve delivery of KBEMS services, participates in budget development, and oversees data contracts and expenses. • Directs integrations between EMS Data Systems and third-party solutions for the exchange of information in accordance with approved limits and stakeholder defined quality standards. Negotiates business associate and data sharing agreements for the exchange of EMS data and coordinates with KCTCS Legal. • Provides direction and support to EMS stakeholders about compliance with EMS data standards, regulation, and policy. • Serves as primary advisor to the KBEMS Data Committee. Facilitates discussion with Committee members on data trends and policy to implement the EMS Data Regulation. • Represents KBEMS by attending and presenting at in-state and out-of-state events. Serves as primarily liaison to organizations on topics related to EMS data. • Provides guidance and support for Emergency Operations Center and Emergency Management response activities. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s Degree and Five (5) years relevant experience or Equivalent. o Equivalent to minimum: Associate’s Degree and Seven (7) years or a High School/GED and Nine (9) years relevant experience. • Three years of experience related to EMS, Health Data Analysis/Management, Statistics, Public Health or Related Field. Job Summary: The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee all volunteers and provide direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions within Ampersand. The position will recruit new volunteers for the agency. This position will report to the Director of Advancement. Essential Duties • Recruit and retain volunteers, interns, & staff contract advocates for crisis line operation and hospital response. • Maintain up-to-date records on all volunteers, interns and staff advocates within Ampersand. • Coordinate monthly calendars for volunteers on the crisis line and medical advocacy. • Provide on-call and back-up coverage for crisis line and hospital response. • Coordinate the collection of service and volunteer statistics as required by funding sources. • Build and maintain relationships with community partners for the purpose of cultivating new volunteers. • Represent Ampersand at community events and programs, including speaking publicly on sexual violence and volunteerism. • In conjunction with Development & Marketing team, create and implement a communications plan amongst agency and volunteers. • Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, mutual respect among staff and volunteers. • Coordinate 40 hour advocacy training session for new advocates Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Equipment The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
